The Deliciousness of Memories
I grew up drinking this juice and I love it. We are not big juice drinkers in our house – we mostly just stick with water – but this is a juice that I make every now and again and all my kids and husband love it too.
I have had an abundance of fresh parsley from my garden this year and we have been loving making this juice with it!

Green is Good!
Parsley is high in vitamin K – in fact it provides all the vitamin K plus some that you need in a day. Vitamin K is important in bone health and blood clotting. It also has vitamin C and vitamin A.
The chlorophyll in the parsley is also beneficial for digestive health, blood health and detoxification. Pretty great stuff!
On top of that, the pineapple is full of digestive enzymes which can help your body to break down food and absorb the goodness in it.

Use a Juicer or a Blender
There are different ways to make this juice. I love to freshly juice my pineapple. I have this Cold Press Omega Juicer and I love it. It works great for the pineapple for this juice. I have run the parsley through the juicer as well and it also works great. However, if you don’t have a juicer you can still absolutely make this juice.
If I don’t have fresh pineapple or if I don’t have the time, I make the juice in my blender with store bought pineapple juice. This is how my mom always did it as well. All you need is a blender and a wire mesh strainer. It is simple and quick and so delicious!

Parsley Pineapple Juice
Makes 32 oz of juice
4 cups parsley tops
32 oz organic pineapple juice or 1 – 2 large pineapples
Directions
WITH A BLENDER – In a blender, place the parsley and 2 cups of the pineapple juice. Blend until the parsley is pureed.
Pour the juice through a fine mesh strainer placed over the top of a bowl or pitcher. Using a spoon, press all the juice out of the parsley through the strainer.
Once you have removed all the juice, add the rest of the pineapple juice to the parsley and pineapple mixture. Add Ice. Stir well and enjoy!
WITH A JUICER – Chop up the pineapple and run it through the juicer. Run the parsley through the juicer as well, if your juicer can handle greens.
Strain the juice, if desired. Add ice cubes and enjoy!
